There’s something about hanging a wreath on the front door that welcomes the Christmas season.
For the past two years, I have been searching for new wreaths to hang on our front doors. While I love wreaths of fresh greenery, our front doors face west and get too much exposure from the sun.
Needless to say, I did not find replacement wreaths for this Christmas. But I did find some great inspirations …
This Wild Berry Wreath uses berry garland, sprigs of berries, some fresh greenery and silver Christmas ornaments. – Better Homes & Gardens
Both of these wreaths use holly and red berries. I love the dusting of snow on the wreath (left). – Martha Stewart
This is a beautiful entry that uses fresh garland, trees and a wreath of green moss. – Martha Stewart Living
This is another entry way from Martha Stewart. The trio of evergreen wreaths is beautiful against the blue door.
This is a very traditional use of greens and red ribbons. Simple and classic. – Southern Living
This is interesting how the wreath is split to allow for centering a wreath on two doors. I love the use of fruit on the wreath. – Southern Living
I guess I’ll have to keep looking. My 10-year old wreaths will have to do another year.
